A highly aromatic Mediterranean herb that goes perfectly with poultry and fish. It is an attractive small evergreen shrub which is essential to any garden. It is also very attractive to bees and butterflies.
As the season progresses we stock several different varieties, not all will be available at once as plants mature at different times, please ring for availability.
Broadleaf Thyme – attractive dark purple flowers and rounded leaves, a cooks favourite. Plant in a sunny sheltered spot in a container or border.
Common Thyme – suitable for rock gardens, banks, bed edges and trailing over walls. It prefers light, well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Lemon Thyme – bushy habit with lilac flowers and lemon scented leaves, suitable for cooking and for growing in the border or containers. Plant in sun and well drained soil.
Thyme Archers Gold – lovely golden foliage which is brightest from September to April, with lilac flowers in summer.
Thyme Silver Queen – an evergreen clump of tiny green leaves variegated with silvery white. The clusters of lilac-pink flowers have exceptional fragrance and flavour. It prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Thyme Silver Posie – pretty, variegated bush with pink flowers in summer.
